The role

The successful candidate will:

  • Anticipate and efficiently resolve complex tax issues for local and multinational clients and work with very limited supervision
  • Develop and maintain successful client relationships, as well as generate new business from existing clients
  • Take opportunity to promote & offer to clients other services of the firm
  • Ensure compliance of activities with technical and risk management requirements
  • Keep abreast of relevant changes in legislation, decrees and practices of tax authorities
  • Active participation in meetings, public speaking and presentations

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor or Master degree in economics, accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax consulting business (big 4 is an advantage)
  • Extensive expertise in local and international tax/trade/customs/commercial laws
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel);
  • 1C or any other knowledge and other accounting software is an advantage;
  • ACCA/CIMA/CPA professional qualification;
  • Leadership & team working skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills and proactive approach to delivering solutions;
  • Ability to make decisions, problem solving skills
  • Strong client service mind-set and experience dealing with clients
  • Ability to be agile in changing circumstances both internally and externally when dealing with client issues
  • Excellent Organizational skills and ability to make prioritization
  • Language: Excellent Azerbaijani and English languages skills both written and verbal. Russian is an advantage
  • Commitment, enthusiasm and positive attitude in general
